Project Management Institute (PMI)

As a PMI Global Registered Education Provider (REP), QA-IQ offers both traditional and blended training routes to the benchmark Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification. Many of our courses are also accredited for the award of Professional Development Units (PDU’s) which are needed to retain PMP status.

Why undertake PMI certification?

The PMI is the largest international professional body for project management, and offers the qualifications of choice for many multi-national corporations The PMP credential is one of the most sought after qualification for project managers around the world.

What is involved in PMI certification?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is the main qualification from the PMI and is taken by most candidates when applying for PMI membership. The 200 question, 4 hour, multi-choice examination is based on the PMI’s Body of Knowledge and is taken online at any Prometric Testing Centre.

QA-IQ’s PMI PMP Examination Preparation Workshop has recently been re-written to incorporate the latest accelerated learning techniques. It is designed to provide candidates who have already acquired a thorough understanding of generic project management with the specific coaching required to pass the APMP examination. Candidates with little or no previous knowledge of PMI’s Body of knowledge should first attend our PMI Project Management course.

QA-IQ also offers a Blended Programme (onsite only) - unique combination of state of the art web-based modules mixed with specially tailored classroom sessions and virtual classroom tutorial sessions to consolidate learning.

Project Managers need to renew PMI membership every three years. This is achieved by collecting Professional Development Units (PDU’s) - 60 PDU’s need to be collected in order to re-certify. We offer the following courses which are accredited by the PMI for the award of PDU’s.
