Messaging and Microsoft Exchange Server

Today both individuals and organisations are dealing with the challenge of needing to be ‘in touch’ anywhere and anytime, through a range of devices.

Email is so important that we require exceptional reliability, coupled with high levels of security to protect it from attack and abuse. Our requirement for digital rights management to ensure that information is seen only by selected individuals is growing.

Microsoft’s new messaging technology, Exchange Server 2007, has been designed to meet all of these requirements, alongside a new range of security products to protect the system.

Exchange Server 2007 now has capability to enable ‘anywhere access’ through enhanced ‘Outlook on the desktop’ and ‘Outlook Anywhere.’ Along with improved ‘Outlook Mobile’ and ‘Outlook Web Access,’ Exchange Server 2007 now has unified messaging capabilities.

These capabilities enable the combination of voice messaging, fax and email into one inbox. This integrates an organisation's telephony network with Exchange. Furthermore, when combined with Office Live Communications Server, Exchange Server 2007 is set to become of the most important unified communications solutions on the market.

All these new capabilities will require new skills, and at QA-IQ we have been delivering Exchange Server 2007 courses for many months. Our instructors are highly experienced in how to plan, deploy and maintain both Exchange Server 2007 and previous versions.
